Training
1:1 with Nurse Katelyn – flexible schedule tailored to you. This training is designed for nurses who have completed their Fundamentals Training and want to learn advanced techniques.
- Advanced neurotoxin and filler areas
- Fat dissolving treatments and cannula use
- Consultation skills and treatment planning
- Theory and safety protocols for neurotoxin and dermal fillers
- Product knowledge and rheology
Hands-on training: $1,999/day + HST Shadowing only: $599/day + HST

2-Day Course
1:1 or 2:1 Fundamentals of Neurotoxin & Dermal Fillers Course. This course offers a 2-day learning experience with a focus on both theory and practice.
- Anatomy and physiology of neurotoxin and dermal filler injections
- CNO standards, complication management, task delegation
- Hands-on injections on real demo clients
- Medical director relationships and marketing insights
- Business basics for running a medical aesthetics practice

MEET YOUR TRAINER & MENTOR
KATELYN BURDEN, RN, BSCN
Katelyn, founder and owner of Empowered Medical Aesthetics Inc., has a deep passion for education and medical aesthetics. After spending 3 years as an ICU nurse and 7 years as a Kinesiologist, Katelyn discovered cosmetic injections while addressing her own signs of aging and felt an immediate connection to the field. Recognizing the gaps in direction and support in aesthetics training, she developed a comprehensive mentorship program for nurses who have completed their Fundamentals of Neurotoxin and Dermal Fillers Course.
With a love for lifelong learning, Katelyn has built upon her foundational knowledge by completing advanced courses in Neurotoxin, Medical Neurotoxin, Cannula techniques, and Full Facial Balancing, among others. Currently pursuing her Masters in Nurse Practitioner studies, Katelyn aims to expand her clinic’s offerings to focus on women’s wellness and fertility treatments.
