Empowered Medical Aesthetics was developed with a vision of being a inviting space for all clients to visit-whether you are new to the medical aesthetics field or have received treatments before we are never pushy during your experience and are first and foremost client centered. If you are interested in aging naturally and receiving treatments that compliment your current lifestyle and aesthetic then we are the clinic for you.
Our goal is to get to know you, and develop a treatment plan that is uniquely individualized, so that we can deliver natural and sustainable results.
As a Registered Nurse with a background in working in the ICU, I come from a very meticulous and detailed driven background. This attention to detail and high acuity experience has led me to be a more science and education driven injector.
Fast forward 5 years in business and I am about to complete my Masters of Science- Nurse Practitioner stream, and am looking forward to expanding my practice in the aesthetics field to continue to provide the best treatments and to expand our team and services to bring in more evidence based practices and practitioners.

KATELYN BURDEN, RN, BSCN
Katelyn is the founder and owner of Empowered Medical Aesthetics Inc. After spending 3 years as a ICU nurse and 7 years working as a Kinesiologist prior to that, Katelyn stumbled across cosmetic injections after noticing some signs of aging that she had treated. After spending her entire life playing some sort of sport whether it may be rugby or long distance running, it was unexpected when she immediately felt drawn to the field. It wasn’t long before Empowered Medical Aesthetics was in development.

Stevee Nunn
As a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, Stevee is deeply committed to nurturing emotional growth and resilience in children and families. Her eclectic therapeutic approach ensures that each client feels heard and supported on their unique healing journey.Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies with a Minor in Psychology, along with my experience as an Early Childhood Educator and Recreation Therapist, Stevee possesses a comprehensive understanding of family dynamics, childhood development, and the everyday challenges that arise in life.

Meet Hannah, our Customer Service Manager! Hannah is currently pursuing her Laboratory Technologist diploma while bringing a wealth of experience to her role. With a passion for nature and a background in child care, she’s dedicated to providing empathetic, thoughtful service to our customers.

MELISSA THOMAS
Melissa has been in the aesthetics industry for 13 years. She started her career as a makeup and lash artist, eventually turning her focus towards skin health. For the past 2 years, she has been specializing in advance techniques to improve quality of skin from the inside out. She is dedicated in creating custom skin health plans for every client she encounters, as she knows beauty isn’t always one size fits all.
