What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is an injection made of CaHa or calcium hydroxyapatite. This ingredient creates a matrix under the skin when injected to restore volume and boost collagen stimulation. The gel formation of the product allows us to smooth lines and provide an instant volumization in areas such as the jawline, chin and cheeks.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a biostimulator injection made of PLLA or Poly-L-Lactic Acid. This product is injected into the skin and used to restore volume and skin quality and integrity. Unlike other similar products like Radiesse, Sculptra does not add any volume.

How does Radiesse work?
Over time as Radiesse breaks down, the matrix is replaced with collagen and elastin fibres to repair skin structure. This is a great treatment for improving skin quality, repairing hollowing and smoothing neck lines. Can also be used on the body for skin tightening and collagen stimulation in areas such as the buttocks, and abdomen.

How does Sculptra work?
The main ingredient in Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance that triggers collagen production deep within the skin. As the collagen builds over several weeks, it restores volume lost due to aging, smooths out wrinkles and fine lines, and improves overall skin firmness and elasticity. Results occur gradually over 4-6 weeks post treatment and results will continue to occur for up to 6 months. The results last up to 2 years. Multiple treatments may be required to achieve full results.
